The RRVY Wahoos were founded in 2002, when the two area teams, Forks Area Swim Team and the Greater Grand Forks YMCA Barracudas, decided to join forces and unite as one. The Wahoos are a growing team, having worked their way to being successful at the state level and are breaking out at the national level.

The Wahoos continue to be successful and offer a great family feel as well as a strive of excellence in the sport of swimming

The RRVY Wahoos Swim Team is a not-for-profit organization whose purpose is to provide a comprehensive, year-round competitive, instructional, and recreational swimming program to the greater Grand Forks Area. The club is owned by the families that make up the competitive team and governed by a Board of Directors composed of parent members. RRVY Wahoos is a club member of USA Swimming, the national governing body for the sport of swimming.
